2000 4.6, P38 missing
Thanks Joey, I have changed the leads, plugs and Ignition coil but to no avail. I have checked the airflow sensor; which is free and clean. As this is happening on both gas and petrol I am happy it is not a fuel issue however, my next thought is the injectors as there is no sensor faults...- marigoldmark

2000 4.6, P38 missing
Hi Joey, It has 124000 miles on the clock. I changed the Valves, gaskets, plugs & leads less than 6000 miles ago when I put the multi point GAS system. I have run the car on both petrol (OCTANE 97 RON) and GAS with the same result. I thought it might be an air induction issue so checked the...- marigoldmark

2000 4.6, P38 missing
Hi, My 4.6, 2000 plate, P38 is missing on leads 3,5 and 6. I took it to a main dealer who sugested changing the ignition coil pack (Bosch 0 221 503 407). Before I go ahead with this recommendation, does anybody have any advice as I think that the coil pack has 2 sides which the left provides...- marigoldmark
