Hi all. Still new to the site, so perhaps someone has already replied and I can't find it.
I have a Disco 2 manual with ABS light showing. Had it computer checked. Said right front and left rear sensor faulty. Replaced them. O.K. for a few days. Back on. Reseated all sensors, checked wheel bearing adj. etc. Came on again. Computer still says right front sensor. Have spoken to a few people. 1 guy said he has had the problem before where the front wheel bearing( which is sold as one piece with the hub) began to collapse. The whole hub is seriously expensive, so before I buy it, was wondering if anyone else has had a similiar hassle and whether this was the cause.
Also, the ABS light came on once, and stayed on when the Hill descent control button was pushed. I am assuming this is because the sensor can't pick up whether the abs ring is staying still or not - possibly due to the faulty wheel bearing. Any clues to this dilemna would be appreciated. Thanks
