My 2018 D5 has developed an air suspension issue and will only achieve normal height so took it to Land Rover for a diagnosis and they said that they could hear air leaking from the compressor and it should be replaced for a mere $2700 including labor. I purchased the full work shop service manual and found out how easy it is to access the unit as it lives below the trunk floor; so I decided to order the compressor and replace it my self. The manual has great tips on drilling out all of the rivets securing the two layers of sound proof casing and I purchased the compressor from RMT for $285. OF course I also had to buy the icarsoft LR V3.0 Diagnostic to make sure that I can recalibrate the system. I have started by removing the unit from its mount leaving everything connected and then removing all the casing and then raising the suspension from the truck controls to see exactly where the leak is. There is actually nothing wrong with the compressor and the air loss is coming from the dryer unit which I am having a really hard time finding a replacement for. Anyone have any ideas where I can find a replacement and which of the numbers is the part number.
