Does anyone else feel the leg room is lacking in the LR4? I find my right knee is always jammed into the center console. I never really noticed this in my 2010 LR4, but I think I was so happy about the improvements over the LR3, that I didn't notice. I remember a BMW 540i I had back in '03 that had a travel limiter piece on the track. The dealer took it out, and that gave it about an extra inch of travel. I would love an extra inch of travel...

It's not a problem for me, but one thing I notice is that the pedals are a bit high and I sometimes hit the molding. I have bigger feet, so I feel it's crammed down there near the pedals.

Leg Issue

I just picked a LR4 up yesterday from the dealer... Drove for about two hours without a break and my right knee was killing me... I'm 6'-4"... Otherwise LOVE the LR4.

I'm 6'3" and have no issues with the knees, even with two rear facing child seats in back. I don't enjoy how high the pedals are (or maybe the foootwell is too narrow) and that the steering wheel doesn't adjust higher for me to be able to see the speedometer top.

you have a rear facing car seat behind the driver's seat and you can still drive???? I am 6'1" and cannot fit in the driver's eat with a rear facing car seat behind me. can you please post a pic of your car seat set up? We also have the Britax Marathon 70 seats.
Thanks,

Maybe I have short legs? ;-) It is a britax seat. I'll take a pic tonight. We have twin toddlers and my wife is adamant they stay rear facing until 2. I can't wait for that birthday...
