Curious, who among us here would feel comfortable enough braving the shown sharp rocky paths in this video with the stock contis, or other all-seasons for that matter, in stock size?

If not, what in your opinions would be the bare minimum type of tire needed here to make it thru without risking flats or sidewall cuts?

I'm no ********* off-roader but I would not be intimidated by any of the terrain or road surfaces shown in that clip. With one exception I saw flat mud, gravel, and snow surfaces without too much incline. The shot that made the road surface look like it was sharp rocks may have been caused by the camera angle. I have seen it before, btw, and love the name: "Accursed Mountains"!

I have taken LR4s on similar trails while riding on Conti's, Bridgestone Dueller Alenzas, and Nokian WRG3 tires.

Now, doing what is possible is not the same as doing what is smart or fun. Ideally I would choose some Coopers, Nittos, Duratracs, or BFG AT tires. Looking good is also important, after all.

Ha, indeed.

The portion of the trail at around 0:20 - 0:21 in the video caught my attention, medium closeup of the right side rear wheel. Those rocks seem sharp.

Pretty mild gravel / small rock road. Impassible? Only for low riders.

Haha. You see, I knew there was a catch somewhere in there. Thank you, mbw :)

I did much worse than in that video on Michelin street tires.

A tire patch kit with new valve stems is wise too. Seems like sidewalls get taken out a lot, which a patch won't help much with, at least as a longer term fix. But if you shear off a valve stem or get a gash, having a kit is nice. Also good to practice getting a bead back on a rim. It's a pain in the ass. (i have only had to do that once, and now I don't air down past 20 unless I can really help it)
