Charging fault after jump start
Code is B11DB. There is wire hooked up at the negative (black) pole that looks just a little fried with copper exposed. Not sure what this is or if it could be the culprit.- Bob in Indy

I am NEW to the forum. 2006 Range Rover. I just attempted to give a jump to someone with a dead battery. Followed the standard procedures, but did get a spark and some smoke from my battery connection after hooking up. Now, I get a Charging System Fault warning that will not go away.
