Have the rave manual. Parts arrived and I am going to get to this next week.
The manual highlights a number of special rover tools and what I was looking for is info on using alternatives.
I have a C-clamp style of ball joint remover that looks like it will work but if anyone has specific...

It is possible that it is actually the lower one but the noise and "squeaking" does appear to be coming from the upper. I checked it out pretty carefully.
Is it prudent to change both once it is all apart?

I have a 2000 DII with little over 120,000km that has at least the upper ball joint shot on one side so my assumption is that I would change both at the same time.
How big a job is this going to be to do it myself - reasonable DIY experience and tools. Will I be able to get the ball joints...
I know how it is supposed to work to remove the headrests on the front seats in a 2000 DII but when it doesn't is there a trick to it.
I am putting in some seatcovers and the HR must come off to accomplish this.

New MAF installed. Was in a bit of a rush to get away tomorrow so I paid a premium.

Off on a fishing trip to North Eastern Ontario.

I have had this code a few times this summer and each time it has...
No rush - when you get a chance. I am having trouble finding anyhting that might be suitable and perhaps look right as well.
I have two series in rough shape and hope to build one good one. I am right at the bulkhead rebuild stage and hope to have it figured out by month end. I just...
I am redoing my IIA but am behind a little. The bulkhead has been a majorchallenge but once that is ready things should leap forward a bit!
