locks in park
2006 lr3 locks in park-F on dash-I assume meaning trans failure- wont change gears after releasing with lever- terrain light does not illuminate is not locked when illuminated -

noise coming from front
06 lr3 HSE rotating rubbing sound coming from front end. Only during acceleration. Does not make it when coasting. Mechanic thinks that it is the front differential, but I would hate to spend that much money and that not be it.
