Sunroof shade - solid instead of mesh
The OEM shade is awesome. Fits perfect, sturdy, keeps out the heat. Definitely worth the cost. I have black interior with dark blue exterior, so the shade is a must. -

NAV8 vs SCV6 Comparison
My 2012 LR4 is with the Dealer right now for some warranty/recall work, and they've got me in a SCV6 2016. The engine strikes me as very sluggish and choppy. Not a big fan. -

Showoff Your LR4
Rescuing my wife from her stuck Subie a few weeks ago. Denver got walloped by a few feet of snow last month. With the Wrangler Duratracs, the LR4 cruised through it like a tank. -

I had to deal with this issue when I was mounting a set of summer tires on a set of RRS wheels. Definitely had to find 315mhz TPMS to match my 2012 LR4. It also complicated my search for summer wheels. There were lots of 2014 LR4 takeoff deals out there, so you'd get new wheels, new tires, but... -

If the Odyssey is even a consideration, wouldn't a more mom-friendly SUV be a better alternative? She's better off comparing the Odyssey to a Pilot or a Toyota Highlander. -

Fun! Yep, pretty sure mine was built in Sept 2012. At least it's only 492 vehicles, maybe I won't have a hard time getting the service done. Probably get to drive around an Evoque for a week. -

I did a search, and didn't see this being discussed. Got a letter from LRNA the other day, said there's a recall on the 2012 and 2013 LR4 for an issue with the glass panel roof. Apparently there's a risk they weren't installed properly at the factory, and can leak water, and in the worst... -

different tire pressures front vs rear tires?
I said "favor" in my message, but that word is probably a little strong. We all know that the fronts are doing most of the work, but I think the service advisor was saying that the rears are getting a more-than-normal bias to prevent/reduce dive. -

FWIW, my service advisor told me that the rear brakes go first because the braking system favors the rear brakes in order to reduce nose dive. Which makes some sense to me given the vehicle's monstrous weight.
