It would be an attempt (my attempt at brainstorming) to get a taller sidewall without any modifications. Because my LR3 is a 85% DDriver and 15% moderate trail rig I think I'm going with 256/65 R18 BFG All Terrains, and a nice set of summer performance tires on stock 19 inch rims for the 85%...- Jerry Robertson

There are a few (Tire Rack) but mainly the All Terrain K02s $240.00/ea load rated D. I know some of the guys want a load rating of E, is it necessary with this tire. I have read jwest loads his vehicle up to 8000 lbs, ok maybe he should use an E rating. and he know a lot more about this stuff...- Jerry Robertson

What are you thought on 255/70 R18s the tire conversion showed the sidewall as 7 inches and overall height as 32.1 all the same as the 275/65 R18s except for width 10 inches vs 10.8. i would think whats most important to us as off roaders is sidewall height fallowed by overall well diameter, one...- Jerry Robertson

Deafening Static from all speakers
I should post what I found to be the culprit for the 60 Hz hmm. It turns out the A pillar cover was pinching the drain tube for the sun roof. Water was overflowing at the sun roof onto the headliner and down the A pillar, shorting on a electrical connection. Thats what appears to be the culprit...- Jerry Robertson
