Looking for Tires

Time for New 19" tires - would you recommend Zeon LTZ's or Pirelli ATR's

Took my LR3 to the dealer and now this...
Thank you for your input(s). Question - the Indy tire shop basically shied away from have a balancing done stating that the balance was probably not going to help the shimmy due to the uneven tire wear (tires more worn on inside tread). Should i still have them balanced just in case? Also...- photodisco

Took my LR3 to the dealer and now this...
My LR3 has 65k miles on it and recently took it in for some warranty work (covered by Ford ESP). While in the shop my service advisor called and told me that my front upper and lower control arms and bushings need to be changed plus some other items. ... The annual 19 inch tire question! Whattya got? Whattya like?
Disappointed in the ATR's I for one read every 19" tire thread on this forum and finally settled on the ATR's. Changed to them at 48k and now at 65k I have fairly major cupping and this is causing the wheel to shimmy at speed over 50. Tread life is good and performance in snow/wet is...- photodisco

Go to Fordfactoryplans.com and either select "under warranty"'and the maximum you can get is 7 hrs from inception date or select "not under factory warranty"'and the system will allow you to purchase up to 5 add'l years. I bought the Ford Plan and have not had to use it till recently … I bought it at 48k and at that time I was offered 7yr 100k from start date OR 4 yr 48k from that day forward. Just mounted Pirelli Scorpion ATR's after going through 2 sets of the horrible Goodyear Wranglers (dealer replaced first set under warranty at 12k, now at 42k) The reason of the change was the obvious loud noise coming from the tires.
