Rattle going over manhole covers and potholes - Please help
Same issue on my '06. I usually keep the 3rd row flat. I was thinking it was a design flaw, surely fixed on the LR4. Sorry to hear its not. I minimized any vibrations on the forward latch of the 3rd row seat bottoms when flat by adding some handy black electrical tape around the post sticking...- victorhess

Rain Sensor...
I've been reading here about the wipers going too often in the rain sensor setting, but has anyone had an issue with the wipers not wiping enough with the sensor setting? Last night mine stopped wiping on my '06. If I switched to slow speed and the back to rain sensor, it worked for about 15...- victorhess

Suspension Fault
I had the same issue last week on my '06 LR3. The compressor was running a long time, the the amber light showed up. The dealership in Nashville replaced the compressor yesterday for $1,000. Works fine now and no more fault light.- victorhess

Guess how much my dealer charges for tie-rods?
Replacing my lower control arms at the dealership tomorrow. Front lower control arms (due to bad bushings) and alignment for estimated $970. It's an '06 with 93k so I'm sure it's due. I hope this lasts 50k per the comments above!- victorhess

voice recognition issues with 06 LR3 w/o Nav
Might be. I've only had mine a few weeks. I had an issue last week where the voice command switch on the steering wheel didn't have any volume at all and when I shut the engine of and restarted the truck it worked again......I'm getting used to British electronics! Best of luck.- victorhess
