@Michael Gain Thank you so much for the response. He did drop the spare tire and with lots of futzing, finally got the piece in place with the 4 pins on the left. However, the screws just won't hold. Trailer Wiring Kit from Atlantic British
My husband bought the Trailer Wiring Kit from Atlantic British for our 2011 LR4. He is having a really hard time with this step (see below pic) to get the connector in place to line up the 4 screw holes. He has twisted and turned as the instructions suggest but to no avail. Will not start
That sounds expensive. Hopefully that is not the case for my 2011 LR4 since it's no longer under warranty. It's been 4 days since it's happened and it has started fine every day since. Hopefully it was the cold weather and just a fluke.- waltzonice

Will not start
The LR4 started fine today. Temps are above freezing today so perhaps it was the cold weather overnight the night before. Though if I didn't hit the brake hard enough, I should have gotten the message -- "Press brakes when starting". There was no message on the dash yesterday when it didn't...- waltzonice

Will not start
This happened to me yesterday on my 2011 LR4. I was up in Breckenridge and it had been very cold overnight -- below zero. The next day around 3pm, I go to start the car. Temp is in the 20's, so not all that cold. No crank at all and no messages -- just all of the various lights on the dash came...- waltzonice

Service Interval for low mileage LR4
Thanks for your responses! I went ahead and made an appointment at the dealership. They quoted me $550 for the 90k service. And I did have the differential fluid changed as part of the 75k service -- that service was around $700.- waltzonice

Service Interval for low mileage LR4
Since my husband retired, we aren't driving our 2011 LR4 much any more. Our last service on the vehicle was performed at 61k miles in Sept of 2015 -- that was the 5 year 75k service. Time wise, I'm almost 5 months past due for the 6 year 90k service, but we currently only have 68k miles, so only...- waltzonice

Key FOB 'secrets'
Is this feature available yet on the IIDTool? I lost one of the key fobs on my 2011 LR4. I'm pretty sure it's in the house somewhere but it's been misplaced for over 2 years now. LOL. Discovery Sport Named One of CR's 4th Worst Cars in 2015
I requested the Discovery Sport for a loaner while my LR4 is in the shop this weekend for annual maintenance. Change out differential and transfer case fluids
It is interesting that I've always used the dealer for maintenance and they've never recommended the fluids be changed until now -- the 5 year 75k service. Based on some of the stuff on this thread about finding shavings and such, it seems like perhaps the recommendation should be sooner.- waltzonice

They are doing everything they always do for annual maintenance (oil change, filters, tire rotation, etc), plus the additional 2 fluid changes. My previous annual service was around $370. With the fluid changes, it will be around $750 is what they quoted me. This is the first time the suggested...- waltzonice

I just made my appointment for the 5 year 75k miles service, and they recommended to change both the transfer case fluid and the locking differential fluid with this service.
