The center bore is the same no difference. I dont know about lr3 lr4 height differences. I do know that the 255/55/20 wheel/tire combo from the newer ROvers is a NICE addition to an LR4. I tried the RRS wide 9.5 rims with a 275/50/20 tire and did not like as much. Anyone looking for a bargin can easily find new 20 RR wheels/tires (255/55/20) for under 1K and bolt on and dont rub and look great on the LR4... offset is 1/4 more aggressive and the tire is an inch taller.

On an LR4, is there a way to recalibrate the speedometer for different size tires? I'm guessing not, since the OEM 19" tires size (255/55/19) and 20" (255/50/20) tire size are exactly the same diameter.

On one of my D5 test drives, I learned that the D5 speedometer can be changed if you change tire sizes.

They look nice on the LR4, nice set up!!!
Those wheels are form the RR Sport not the full size RR, correct? I have 19" wheels with 255/60-19 witch are 31" diameter, same as your 255/55-20. The 31" fills the look of the wheel wells way better imo. The only thing I don't like about mine is that the tires sits a little too "in" for my taste...seeing yours with the extra 1/4 offset seem to stick out just right. I originally wanted to get a set of OEM 20" wheels from the LR4 and install 285/50-20 to get the extra width by the wheel well but your set up might work also. Do you have a picture from the back to see the stance?
Quick question, did you had to replace the TPMS with your original ones or the ones form the RRs work with the LR4? Thanks!

The new RR use a 255/55/20 tire on a 8.5, 47mm offset wheel on some vehicles. I am considering using this setup, does anyone on the forums have any knowledge or experience with a 255/55/20 tire on an LR4? My stock tires are 255/50/20 so they are exactly one inch shorter than my proposed setup,
Nice to know that this fits but for us running the 255 55 19 stock size, this doesn't do anything in terms of sidewall increase. You get an inch more diameter, but it's all rim. I haven't checked yet but are tire choices any better in the new size? That itself might be appealing...
