My 97 Disco started to shift funny, right after I changed the coolant and thermostat. Well of course some water ran out of the thermostat housing and down the back of the engine. Get her topped off and I go test drive. Gone less than a mile, it's shifting funny. So I turn around and go home...
I found my problem. Under the battery were a cluster of wires that had gotten hot and melted, causing shorts. I redid all of them. Everything is working fine except my flood lights, which I don't really care about.
I'm having some of the same issues. My dash lights go out, sometimes the right headlight. A/C fuse under the hood goes out. The electrical stuff makes me nuts. Seems to get worse when it has rained. This sound right? Any ideas on what to check for or clean/replace? Thanks
