Rhythmic pulsing vibration noise
So I noticed a vibration noise that sort of rhythmically pulses at highway speeds (60-70mph) coming from my driver side front wheel. I got the tires balanced and swapped the two fronts to see if it was a tire issue but it stayed at the driver side wheel. I also notice a similar vibration/noise... -

Is this expensive for water pump change?
I was able to get the vac pump, a diagnostic tool to reset the service required message, oil & filter, cabin and engine air filters for under 400. it was easily the least difficult oil change i've ever done -

Does Air suspension need to be in Offroad mode for Hoisting jack?
I doubt you would need to with the hoisting jack since all 4 tires are coming off the ground at the same time, but better do it to be safe. The only reason for putting it in off road mode I believe is so it doesnt adjust the suspension while on the jack. I had to jack up my wifes LR4 to change... -

I had my LR4 into a local mechanic, they gave me a good price on replacing both front lower control arms(just under 1,100 with alignment) but the water pump seemed a little expensive to me. They also said i needed an oil change which they said was going to be $400! I respectfully declined... -

Hello from new LR4 owner in Southern California
Just introducing myself. The lady and I just picked up a 2013 LR4 HSE with around 51k miles. It is mostly for my fiancé as our family car. I come from a subaru (STi).
