I second that. Complained about that problem and they did lube the stops as a solution. Haven't heard it since. -

phone strangeness
In answering your first question, Yes it does happen to all of us. Radio (when off) powers on if you place a call. Maybe a tad bit annoying, to me and my 0.02 cents worth, only when the call is ended because it doesn't turn off the radio. However, nothing a little nudge on the power button... -

New Recalls in system in NA - Being done now
I complained about the speaker rattle on the front passenger too. First time they couldn't replicate. Brought the issue up again the 2nd time and they replaced it. They said it had a tear on the speaker cone. -

How do you engage your shifter?
Just an update just incase anybody might come across this thread. Dealer adjusted the shifter (bowden) cable and my shift indicator on the MFD no longer has any issue nor any hesitation. -

Actually have tried this and is a very neat safety feature that would halt the vehicle. Went to a dealership sponsored "off road" event and they encouraged us to do so in a controlled environment. Sort of a "good to know you have it feature". -

2005 LR3 petrol / gas tank lid
I hear you. Blame it on the laws that don't allow NJ and OR to NOT pump their own gas hehe. Im in NJ also and I always open the gas tank lid myself since this one gas pump attendent used all of his force to pry it open. -

Hahaha funny dave... then the thread becomes hijacked with the brake issue. Mine does go in smoothly. Really no issue to shift at all... but sometimes, when shifting to D, it feels like I have to "rough it up" downward with some force and ensure a sensor is tripped in order to fully... -

How do you engage your shifter?
When engaging to "D", do you slam the shifter from Park to Drive (bypassing R and N) or do you slowly engage at each point? The reason I ask is if I slowly engage to D (say from N), it seems like it wouldn't engage and "D" wouldn't display on the MFD. I need to slam/pull harder to engage to "D". -

Actually, I think this has to do with the phone setting also... In my case, my bluetooth "pairing" requires confirmation each time. So in your example, upon unlocking the door, systems are active by then and the BT "pairing" process doesn't occur until I confirm so in my handset. I do... -

Exactly why I went with Java Black. The wait is just long. On my previous vehicle I had to wait 2.5 months for a white on black vehicle. It's just not common I guess. Most white exteriors commonly have the beige/tan interiors. Post pics Echoes :) -
