    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

Flashed the ECU—thanks for the heads up. Something I've noticed since changing the compressor: Once I'd started the car it didn't want to go to normal height—kept getting the "suspension in extended height, move obstacle" messaging. When I tried to lower it to normal height again, it worked...

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

Thats a good call. Something I was aware of, but my previous compressor was running fine for years and no fault codes or anything, but then when I checked that it was hitachi software… it baffled me, because I’d read how important it was to update the software. Compressor is running fine now...

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

Actually, turns out I had the amk style compressor. My firmware was saying that the software installed was hitachi, but when looking at the compressor, it was without doubt the amk.

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

UPDATE: Issue solved. It ended up being the temperature sensor that's connected to the compressor. BUT, when I tried to replace the temp sensor, it cleared the code, but then threw a SOLVED. C1A27-12 - Compressor Circuit - Circuit Short to Battery code, think I might've shorted the relay. But...

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

Yeah—I have a feeling it's something very similar. The intermittent come and go of the fault while driving initially definitely had me wondering if it was just some bad connection. And then with the fault showing up before the engine is even turned on all but confirmed that. I'll check the fuses...

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

I'll give this a shot. I only have 83K miles on it. Owned it for just over a year now—I did do some pretty heavy off-roading over the weekend, and I wonder if the cable might've come loose or something like that.

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

After more research and diagnoses, it seems like it's an electrical fault and the wire that connects the sensor is corroded or shorted. The fault will show up by just turning the ignition on (not engine), which is a direct indication that it's an electrical fault. The code provides that clarity...

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

Spoke with my indy—and they said they've never done one of these before, just replacing the sensor and questioned whether you can even purchase the sensor on it's own. I'd hate to have to replace the compressor just for the sake of the sensor... but will do, if that's what it comes down to. Any...

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

    Nope—it's hitachi, the old type.

    Suspension Fault — Temp Sensor?

U210A-16(AF) - Temperature Sensor - Circuit voltage below threshold Showed up on my drive home, it'd go away after a bit, then come back up, and then go away, and come back. No restricted mode or anything like that...

Another Coolant Leak - Occasional White Vapor at Idle? 2015 SCV6

What a bummer! Mine definitely doesn't look like that, and I've recently noticed it's only on cold days. More than likely something that's in my head knowing all the coolant horror stories on these trucks. Been monitoring the coolant level too over the last few weeks and haven't seen it drop at...

Another Coolant Leak - Occasional White Vapor at Idle? 2015 SCV6

I think I might have a small coolant leak somewhere, but can't trace it. All coolant work was done within the last 6 months by LR indy—rear+ front pipes, water pump, thermostat housing, hoses etc. No dripping on the floor, and not noticing any sweet smell either. Coolant loss was very minimal...

Engine Rattling on Cold Start (Timing chain tensioner?)

Looks like it's going to need a new supercharger coupler—bummed I didn't know about this when I did the rear and front crossovers, but you live and learn. I'll know for my next rover. Anything else recommended to get done while that supercharger is out? Already completed: Front + Rear...

Engine Rattling on Cold Start (Timing chain tensioner?)

That’s a good shout. Crossovers (rear and front), waterpump, thermostat, belts etc were all done as soon as I got it. Wish I’d known about the supercharger coupler… but alas, having a blast learning about these vehicles as I go.

Engine Rattling on Cold Start (Timing chain tensioner?)

Correct they are on the newer design, but I do believe the tensioners can still go around 90K... but nothing really guide wise or chains unless left and poor OCI's

Engine Rattling on Cold Start (Timing chain tensioner?)

I haven't owned it too long, maybe about 6 months now, and it's NURTURED. The rattle has been there since I bought it, and it's always only ever been serviced by reputable Land Rover indy's who only work on these vehicles. I've been reading up on timing chain tensioners and guides lately and...

Engine Rattling on Cold Start (Timing chain tensioner?)

I've been changing the oil with the recommended spec from Liquimoly (+ ceretec etc.), every 5K miles. No leaks or issues on lack of oil. I've been religious about babying this beast. Been trying to diagnose this, especially as it's just on cold start. Only 74K miles on it, and because it's a...

Engine Rattling on Cold Start (Timing chain tensioner?)

2015 SCV6 LR4 (74k miles) has a slight clicking/ticking noise when idling after cold start (videos included). Once the car warms up it's gone. No codes, and I suspect it's a timing chain tensioner, but thought I'd ask in the event that I can catch something early. I took the engine cover off so...

    LR4 windshield replacement

Sorry to resurrect this thread but it was the only thread here that seemed to have some information on the U0241-00 (28) fault code I'm getting. Wanted to reference OP's thoughts here: "If rain sensor not properly attached it will trigger 2 errors below due to bad grounding of that windsheild...

18" vs 19" for All Terrain Tires

hickersb, Curious about the tpms, did you experience any issues with the tpms sensors in each wheel? Did you end up purchasing news one, and was it easy to sync to the car?
