Here is an image from RAVE... The sensor is on the end of the wire, mounted to the hub... You MUST remove the wheel to clean the hubs correctly... The laziest way to do it use a car wash gun, but I don't suggest it as a substitute for a good cleaning, only as maintenance after a thorough... -

Also find out where the owner had the vehicle maintained (if other than dealer)... If they say "dealer", then have them get a print out from the dealer of all services ever performed on the vehicle... All they have to do is enter the VIN and any work done by a LR dealer in the US can be... -

New to LR and the LR3
There are other independent Land Rover mechanics that can service your LR3... Try the "search" feature up on the upper right-hand side of the thread list... It does work! You can find someone near you that has already asked for a local, independent mechanic. Or, you could do basic service... -

aux input noise
Sounds like a ground loop issue... I think if you ground your stereo directly to the battery, it should go away... Shouldn't be too hard, you'll just have to find a good place to get the cable trough the firewall... Use a good size gauge (at least 12 gauge, OFC)... Jonathan -

HUH!???? :frown: I don't understand what you are trying to say... Try again.... As far "air" is concerned on the DII's, it's only on the trucks with the SLS... All that does is level the rear of the vehicle automatically if it senses a heavier load... Then is will adjust when the load is... -

I'm not sure, but I don;t think the SLS can max out so much such that it forced the front suspension the compress completely... Have the front shocks and springs been replaced? Steering damper? Jonathan -

Brake Lights Problem
Sounds like it's a switch, just like Joey says... If you want to try fixing your old one, remover the switch from the mount. The piston section can be pulled out to a maximum length without breaking... Then, jut re-install the switch and plug back in... Once you hit the break pedal, it... -

I suggest you speak to the manager of that establishment immediately and stop driving the vehicle until you can drain some oil out... You need to get them to agree to pay for any damage caused by this stupidity with in the next year or so, depending on how much you drive. If you get this...
