recall on disco, rangerover gas tanks

My 97 goes in the shop for gas tank tommorow, I was told
there is a 50/50 chance I might need a fuel pump due to
the lines from pump to tank cracking when removing tank.
And I was told if this is the case LR will replace pump for
free. Anyone have this done.

well, had the tank replaced and everything seems to be doing fine; however, when I picked up my truck the rear ashtray was pulled out and someone had put it on my back seat??? Not sure what the mechanics were doing back there but they did change the time on my clock (at no charge!! haha); I asked them if they could turn my service engine light off and they said that it would only cost me $50!!! Told them I'd do it myself!!
