At what gas price will you sell your LR3?
I have a Discovery ll, not a LR3 but I will keep it for at least the next 10 years. I just purchased this LR and my previous Mitsubishi Montero only saw 28K miles in the past 8 years.My daily driver/off roader. So as you can see I do not drive vary much and live 10 mins from work. -

small oil leak
The oil pump housing in where you stated the leak is comming from. between front of engine and radiator. -

It should be more like $800-$1200 at a local shop. If you own the Vehicle out right then even a $2500 repair is better than $10.000-$20.000 Commitment for a new or newer vehicle. -
