i really do not know what else is under the hood, just some info about the make and model/paint codes. something about spark plug tolerances i believe, i am pretty sure that the belt lay outs are the only real important references. good luck? also, a RAVE workshop cd, or a workshop book will suit you well too (i have the sorta hard to find Haynes book for early discos--beware written from a british perspective), but the RAVE cd, offical land rover maintainence manuals, and the Haynes book can be found on ebay for reasonable prices...

The Genuine LR Shop Manual and/or RAVE CD are usually on EBay for cheap (if you are willing to push down your morals regarding copyrights), or through the major parts suppliers or the dealer.
