Hello there,

I have a 1998 Disco that I am now putting some long over do attention to. Having a very tight budget I am wondering if a 1999 Disco that I have recently found could sub for parts? Interior being a key factor. i know there are some differences between them but wondering to what extent.

Any feed back would be great.

( It for sure seems that buying a whole damaged 97' 98' 99' vehicle is cheeper than buying the amount of parts I'm looking to swap out interior wise. )

It depends if it is a 99 D1 or a 99 D2.... If a D2 not much interior or panels are changable, just drivetrain...

Hey Joey;

I thought 98 was the cut-off year between DI and DII or did they split 99 as they did with 97 (i.e., in 1997 they split the year between non-advanced evap sys and advanced evap - a critical consideration when doing some engine/fuel system work)?
