Anyone know the proper adjustment or install instructions for the accelerator cable on a 1999 Discovery 1 4.0?

Are you installing a new one or what?
It may be discussed in the Rave manual but if I had to do it, I would ask some one to work the gas pedal while I adjusted the cable, first making sure that as soon as you push the pedal there is no excess travel before the engine responds and also that when floored the cable fully opens the t/plate.
I know there is probably a more exacting way but this works for me.
