new purchase the faceplate on radio says its on all the buttons work included steering wheel, but no sound. your suggestions please thank you in advance

you got a radio that has a removable faceplate. I had on of those on a car about 10 years age. All radios have both a 12V input power and a 12V illumination input. Does the faceplate light up when the headlights are on?
