2005 Range Rover HSE

I have a 2005 Range Rover HSE, when trying to ignite the car the key jams and doesn't turn. I have to unplug the car battery and plug it back on for the key to rotate. Does any one else have this problem, and if so how can I fix it?

Can you unlock/lock the vehicle with the key?

Also, if you can do so, then Im not sure what else to tell you besides the key not being properly programmed to the vehicle based on the transponder that's inside of it. I had a similar thing happen to me when I purchased an uncut key online (ebay) and had it cut, then taken to the LR Dealership to have it programmed for me, just to find out it was the transponder that was not reading. That's what they ended up telling me at the dealership, so have them check it though to see what they tell you. Good luck man.
