I have a 2008 LR2 and the key remote now only unlocks the doors intermittently, but starts the vehicle just fine once key is docked. I have seen info on replacing the battery, but would like more help on battery replacement or if there is a good outlet for spare keys?
I have seen on eBay, that only unused remotes can be programmed, and only by the LR dealer, that once used, these remotes become locked to a vehicle and can NEVER be reprogrammed.
Any help would be great as I don’t want to spend $320 + $65 programming for a new remote.
