All new to rovers. Been sitting for a couple of months and the brake pedal seems very hard and hardly any brakes. Parking brake light on and abs light on. Fluid looks good just bought this rover and it seems like it has been well maintained. The fuse inside for the brakes was blown but i replaced and still same problem. Really could use some help here.

Is your abs pump running for 30 secs? And if it is does it hold at the accumulator?

3 bosch relays under drivers seat (to clean, open and remove carbon buildup)
If you don't hear pump (under hood infron of driver) then it's out. Replace pump and accumulator together. Easy job.

Found relays. Found that one was bad the 3rd from the front. Repaced and now pump is runnin and then shutting of after around thirty seconds and the parking brake lite and the abs lite went out as well as the explamation lite too. BUT ran down road seemes like brakes were well but now the abs and ! lite came on and the first fuse second row in the block next to the radio is blown. But brakes seem fine.

Probably the best thing I can suggest is to bring your car to a capable mechanic. Have you been having a squealing noise that goes away when you step on the brake? Perhaps brake pads are worn.
