Hey all,
Another issue on my 96' Disco is lately I hear a rubbing noise coming from my Emergency Brake while the vehicle is moving. I know it is coming from the E-Brake because if I apply the E-Brake a little while rolling, the rubbing sound will get louder. I know it is a drum brake, so I guess it is possible it can be worn out? But who has ever worn out a Emergency Brake? I'm driving an Auto, so I don't use it alot. But I do try to use it enough, so that it does not freeze up. I was recently test driving a 2001 D2 and it had the same rubbing problem coming from the E-Brake.
If anyone has an Idea, let me know. Thanks a bunch!!
