Newbie here. I drove my 97 Discovery earlier today. It seems that something has locked/immobilized the vehicle. I have followed the instructions using the keyless entry as described in the LR manual but no luck.

It asks for an "EKA"...what is it? I've looked through the owners manual with no luck...it is totally immobilized...thank goodness it didn't happen out in the mountains....or while the wifey was driving it....

Help!!!

Sounds like a dead battery either in the Rover or your remote has caused an issue.

EKA = Emergency Key Access.
