air bag issues

New here, need help... 2010 LR2. Air bag and seat belt light are constantly illuminated on instrument panel, took to dealer, states its passenger side. Ran diagnostic test, states wire from airbag module is defective and seat needs to be replaced to the tune of $1500. Seems just wire should be replaced, not full seat. Any one else had this issue? Resolved? Current problems? Thanks in advance

We just had the exact same issue, my 2011 LR2 is actually still at the dealership. I have the same questions you do/did. Did you end up finding a solution?
