Anyone have experience replacing the parking brake shoes?

Heard a metallic sound coming from the left rear today. Pulled the rotor off to discover nothin but metal shoes with no pads and a bunch of brake dust.

Looking for tips and part suppliers.

Thanks in advance

I changed mine about a year ago. They went pretty easy. If you give me an e-mail address I can send you the pdf of how to get through the adjustment and bedding in procedures. They really need to be cleaned/adjusted every year.

I have Bodsy's brake bible. I was mainly wondering if there's a brake shoe preference. Is there a big dif between oem and after market?

for the parking brake I wouldn't think there would be any noticeable difference in pads since they only engage once the vehicle is completely stopped. Getting a good adjustment would be key and there is a specific Land Rover procedure for that.
