Anyone's alarm randomly going off?

I also had an alarm that would go off randomly, with a 'hood open' alert on the dash. I replaced the alarm switch and haven't heard the alarm going off yet (knock on wood), but the 'hood open' alert is still on the dash. Any ideas where to look???

Also happens when the battery is on the way out. Mine exhibited this most recently.

The battery installed is fairly new...maybe it's a junk battery???
