Bluetooth Phone: When Volume UP Pressed on Wheel, Bluetooth Phone Enters Dial Mode

I have the Bluetooth kit in my LR3. Often, when I hit volume up on the steering wheel while listening to radio/CD, an extremely loud beep occurs and it displays phone mode on the radio. Basically acting as if I pressed the Green phone button.

Has anybody else experienced this? If so, can it be fixed?
