hi, i recently bought a 97 range rover hse but the 6-disc cd changer is not working correctly. I load the discs in correctly and hear them loading into the cd changer. when I go to play the discs, I get an CDAC ER6 error message on the head unit. Does anyone know what this message means?
Also, occasionally a disc will play for about a minute and then the sound goes all wierd, then stops playing and then displays a CDAC ER3 error message.
I think the laser might be misaligned or the discs don't fit in properly. Any ideas as to what the problem(s) could be?
Also, if I need to replace the 6-disc changer (which is a Clarion PRC 9033) are there any after market 6-disc changers that will work with my 97 range rover hse?
