A few weeks ago, at its own discretion the LR would raise a wheel sporadically. We would be sitting at a stoplight and the front right wheel would lower or raise into extended mode. If the LR felt up to it, the left wheel, at its own discretion would do the same. Some of the time, both fronts would be in harmony and raise to extended height while the rear stayed at normal ride height. Lets just say, for a while the only thing that was missing was triple gold Daytons. It was really something special when driving down the road. As cool as that was, we took it in for repair at the dealer. The front height sensors were "bad" as well as the wiring harnesses according to the service advisor. The signals were disrupted if I recall correctly.
Point of the post..... to share the cost of replacement for:
two front height sensors (#LR20155 Kit - Sensor AT $129.06 each),
two wiring harnesses (YMQ503220 Wire - Jumper $49.81 each),
Labor for install and calibration $198 each
$135 for diagnostic
I was provided a Range Rover loaner at no cost for 15 days
Total invoice $882.74 after applying a discount.
