I am trying to take the rear rotors off my 95 d90 but it looks like I have to take the axel out in order to do that, am I crazy? I haven't gotten a shop manual yet and all the ones I have tried to download online have messed up. Anyone have any advice?

Yes, you have to remove the Axel to change the Rotors.

Thanks for reassuring me. I've just bought the D90 last week and didn't want to get into something I wasn't prepared for.

It is still a PITA to change the rotors... after axle removal, you have to take the hub off, then disassemble to get the rotor off... on my Disco (same principle) took me almost 2 hours to remove one rotor. It really depends on how long it was on there and in my case how much mud was causing it to just want to stay. even after cleaning it was fun.
