Hi there
I have damaged my 2nd radiator in 3 weeks.
When wading in fords that were no more than 1.5 foot in depth I have managed to damage the back of the radiator between the block and the back of the radiator on my 99 TD5 defender.
The damage is such that it loses all coolant and I will now have to replace my 3 week old brand new radiator with another new one.
I don't understand whether it is water pressure or I am being unlucky with debris getting between the block and the radiator but there is no other visible damage in the area. I am not appraoching the water quickly or travelling quickly through it.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what is causing this and how I can avoid it in the future?
