Hey,
So heres my first post. I own a 1999 Discovery Series 1, and I love the car. I've come to realize its really hard to do anything to this car haha. I just finished dropping a 2,500$ sound system in it, and of course I did all the work. I also did a Front end update to a series II. Anyhow I really couldnt find any rims for my car, so a buddy is custom making a set for me heres a pic, tell me what you think. (its a photo chop, and thats pretty much what my car looks like, except its green)

I'm not feeling it (the rims). Saw the pic on your myspace.

Dont you want to be able to use your truck for something?

I guess you could always use the low 4 wheel for going over speed bumps.

Just a thought. I dont mean to rag on ya.
Just put some big tires on with a lift

Heres your pic....

I personally like rims like that, but n8 does have a point... A Rover on big wheels is pretty useless for 4 wheeling, but if you're like me, you probably don't do a lot of off roading anyways. I wish there were more wheel options for the disco 1 without buying wheel adapters. I don't have money for wheels anyways though lol.

Yeah I know what you mean. Before this, I had the stocker on ( Tornado 16's) and up until a couple of months ago I was going off-road almost every weekend. Then I spent a lot of money on my sound and didn't want to risk any more damage to my car. Upside is I still have those tornado's. Do you have any links to other rims for the DISCO I?

What do you mean "before this"? These are photochopped rims on here. Do you have others on there now?

Are you still running stocks or no

Well like I said a buddy is making them for me. They're worth upwards of 3 grand, Im getting them for quite a bit less (about 900, the price of tires). Apparently they were built for a Disco at SEMA last year, and they were never used. Originally all chrome, im getting the centers painted black.

i'm really not of fan stuff like this on discos...the way i see it stuff like that is really meant for non off road suv's, ie: escalades, navigators, etc...

Maybe it's just me, but i think a stock disco hotter than any modded out one (except for functional mods like lift kits and roofracks and arb bars.)
