I'm at work, so workshop manual nowhere near me, but I have a nuts-and-bolts question. I'm hoping to replace the front passenger door on my 96 with a door from a 1994 model. What, if any, difference is there between the doors? Will the electrical connectors, etc. connect without problems? If my memory serves there were no body changes in D1, but I want to make sure first....

TIA,

Andy

they should fit....but I'm not 100% sure about the red door on a white rover, unless you replace both! Thank You, LRW.

OK, the plot thickens....I look in my Genuine Body Panel Repair Guide (shop manual has nothing about the body parts). It's listed "From 1995 Model Year."

This makes me wonder if the 94 doors were different....anyone?

I'll try to get it tomorrow, right now i am way ****** off with injectors and ram housing and whole ordeal of leaking and fitting to get anywhere close to Disco again :)

But me thinks there is no difference. There is plastic pocket, there is handle, no window regulator, speaker whole next to handle.. :)

Mine is very very archaic and simple - cloth interior. Will try to get pic for ya tomorrow.

UPDATE: Piece fits, connector connects, but interior trim is slightly different (all per a source on another board) -- final update after this weekend's wheeling/camping trip...
