What's the technique for pulling connectors from their sockets?

What connectors from what sockets? Some of them have a catch that a jewelers screw driver type tool is required on both sides of the connector and others are just darn snug.

Been there, tried that. ALL the connectors I've seen on my Disco have the latch function, usually on one side only. There has to be a technique or tool to pull those connectors other than the 'Rube Goldberg' approach...

squeeze or unclip... depends on the clip.

I have had connectors that litterally welded themselves together simply from the current flowing thru them. I hav'nt had that much trouble with my discovery. The toughest being the cc ecu connector. As far as tools go there are extraction tools made for most all connectors. Albeit some these tools are impractical to use given the limited space in the work enviroment.
