Hi - My car suddenly dies while driving and I have traced it back toi the fuel pump under the passengers seat. I have cleaned and checked the pump but I appear to have no power to the pump.
What can I do to trace the power back - I have checked the relay - cut out switch - What am i missing?
If I put an external 12V to the pump should this turn it over or does it needed a coded start from the imobiliser etc - or am I totally off track?
By blowing down the pup hose to the engine I forced some fuel to the engine which caused it to run for a few seconds so I an sure the problem is in the pump area.
Any advice?
Mike
