can you just replace a motor on these or do you have to buy an entire kit to replace?

Also, what is the difficulty to doing this yourself, from 1 being easy to 10 being hard?

I can help out more if you send me a VIN but from what I'm looking at it looks like you have to buy the full regulator assembly.

Level of difficulty really depends on your level of technical experience with the vehicle. Do you refer to easiest thing possible changing wipers or changing tires? How mechanically inclined are you?
