Aside from preference or feel, it isn’t necessarily true saying poly bushings last longer.

My 30 yr tech who also races said they’re experience has poly also wearing out prematurely due to exposure to various chemicals that aren’t a problem w standard rubber.

The bushings basically turned to mush if wrong stuff gets on them.

Well... Replaced today both from LCAs This costed me $1,000 inc. labor+4-wheel alignment. :( All bushings in the old LCAs were wasted! Now it drives like new :).

At 51.5K miles and 5 years of mostly around city driving it's a bit disappointing to replace LCAs on a LR4 with an alledgedly high quality brand such as Land Rover. Would have expected them to last at least 100K miles! I had Chevy and MB SUVs and never had such problem despite way much higher mileage. I sold my ML to a friend with 108K miles on it and 40K miles later still with the original LCAs.
