I have a sneaky suspision that my fuel pressure regulator is the root of all evil or at least the cause of my poor running problems.
I am under the impression that it functions by vacuum from the intake changes the amount of fuel pressuret lets through. My question is this: If it's starting to fail is it because it's clogged (either the vacuum part or gunking up of the fuel path) or other mechanical problem.
I know it's probably a waste of time but I'm going to see if I can clean it out or tap on it with a magic wrench and see what happens before I spend $100.
Any thoughts or feedback appeciated.
Thanks
Eric
