Well, it's been 5 weeks since we (wife and I) bought our first LR. We bought a new LR3 SE7. We absolutely love it. Her last 2 vehicles included a Honda Odyssey and an Jeep GC. The LR3 was right up her alley. In 5 weeks we've accumulated over 3,000 miles!
Now it's got me thinking about one as well. I currently have a well used 2000 Audi A6 4.2. In the past, I've owned a GMC Yukon, Dodge Ram, and even a couple Isuzu Troopers.
I stopped today at my local LR dealer and test drove both a new RR Sport and brought home a 2004 RR HSE for a try. They are priced similarly with the RRS a few thousand cheaper. The RR only has 9400 miles on it and is in nearly new condition. I even knew the previous owner (who owned 16 Rovers at one point). They have the RR HSE stickered at $63,900 and it was offered to me at $59,900. I'm sure there's some additional room to negotiate.
I'm in sales and drive about 30k miles per year with 95% of it on the interstate. Don't know what else to say.
Somebody help me!!
