Greetings to all,
I have just purchased my first Land Rover, a 2001 Discovery SE with 90,000 miles. I bought it from the dealer in Asheville, NC because of its history. It was $8,042.00. And that's after haggling down 10% from the "fixed" price.
It was originally purchased new at the dealer then traded in after lease end. A second owner bought it then traded it for a new LR3.
All servicing has been done at the dealer so I have all records. The only repair needed in its life so far has been a front axle shaft replacement. Also, It has ASC.
I look forward to conversing with many of you regarding my questions.
P.S. The dealer has a built-in off road course. Made it through fine several times but the running boards can get in the way
