Captured this SSM on TopiX, figured it may be useful to someone in the future as it is an easy DIY project.

Issue:

Land Rover Dealers / Customers may report that the Hood / Bonnet 'Open' Messsage is illiminated in the Instrument Pack even though the Hood / Bonnet is closed
Cause:
There is a potential that an internal Spring could become dislodged
Action:
Should a customer or Dealer report the above concern then you are asked to please view the attached presentation on how to move the Hood / Bonnet latch Spring back into position which will then enable the switch to operate normally.
