I read somewhere that the paint on 07-09 hood logos will not peel off compared to 05-06 models that do peel. My 06 hse hood letters peeled and I'm way past warranty. I want to replace them but don't want to repeat the peeling nonsense again. Can anyone confirm the following:
1. Does the paint on 07-09 hood decals chip/peel?
2. Is the paint color the same for 07-09 logos or different from the 05-06 type? Any one have confirmed part numbers to share? If different, I'll replace the rear logos too so front and rear letters look the same.
3. Is there an "improved paint" color version for 05-06 letters that has proven to not peel over time?
