is there a way to reset the nav system?

My lease is up after 2.5 years (and only 15k miles)...

I want to reset the nav before I return it - how is that done?

Disconnect both battery terminals, keeping them far away from the battery, connect the two with a jumper wire and wait for 10 seconds or so. This is called a 'hard restart' and will completely drain the capacitor for the front entertainment control system. Connect the terminals back and all the vehicles preset's will be cleared. Seat memory, radio presets, all adresses and previous destinations stored in the navigation system will be cleared.
